My desk is in our downstairs sun room. It is more window than wall and I get to watch the shenanigans that these two get into all the time. This lead to the creation of my children's book, The Adventures of Mr. Edmund Goat. After weeks of being distracted from my freelance work by the two goofy goats, I began writing down some notes. After one large, unbelievable event (I won't give it away, because this event is the climax of the book) I got to work writing.
After a few drafts, and several readings and approvals from the neighborhood children, I left the book in the hands of my close friend, Alyssa (If you are in need of cover art, or full illustrations, please get in touch with me. I can pass on your information. She really IS amazing!). She's an incredible artist who seems to share a lot of my same ideals, hobbies, and obsessions. I knew she would take good care of the story, so I've let her run with it.
Mr. Edmund Goat and the Elusive Clover is a fun, yet cautionary tale showing kids that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Follow along with Mr. Edmund Goat as he discovers that, although things can appear better on the other side, friends and family are what truly make a pasture green.
