So, today I'm going to do something a little bit different. I'm going to step out of my usual topics of conversation and get on the soap box for this spectacular novella, Witches: Tea Party.
Witches: Tea Party is written by a dear friend of mine, UK Horror Author Mark Taylor. Mark is the author of such unique tales as Strange: A Dark & Surreal Collection, The Devil's Hand, and The Human Condition.
From there, the reader is whisked away to modern day Kansas. Strange place to wind up directly after Salem, but hang on - it'll make sense, just keep reading. Mary Anson, once the witch known as Marie-Anne, can no longer live with her guilt of surviving the occurrences of the infamous Salem Witch Trials. She sets out to make a deal with the only man she knows can help her set things right - the Devil. And, not surprisingly, Kansas is just the place to find him (See? Told you to hang on!).
This impressive novella takes you through the twists and turns of bargaining with the Devil as we are introduced to a full fledged coven of witches tasked with aiding Mary Anson in her quest. Taking you along for the ride, Mary and her new coven - Dina, Excalibur, and Lady - are hurtled into a chase across the country, a chase against time, all while being pursued by monsters and darkness.
Witches: Tea Party will leave you on the edge of your seat, begging to know if this modern coven will accomplish their task. Is making a deal with the Devil worth it? Or did Mary and her friends bite off more than they can chew?
The first in a series - Witches: Tea Party is a fresh, exciting story woven by a true master of horror with a hell of a penchant for keeping you hooked! I look forward to the next installment.

Author Mark Taylor
Mark Taylor's debut novel crash landed on planet earth in 2013. Its dark brooding style benchmarked his writing and has led to further releases of novel and short story collection alike.
While most of Mark's work is macabre, occasion has it that he will write about kittens and daisies. Just not very often.
Some say he is a product of his environment, others, a product of his own imagination.
